School is going well so far, I've got a few assignments already but I'm on track for them - I'm doing a research assignment on Roman Egypt, a comparative essay between Brave New World and V for Vendetta for english, and I have an art piece for art.
Speaking of Art Pieces, I got an A for my art piece - a social comment on war - last term. I was really happy, I also got an A on my visual diary research for it and an A on the social commenting catalogue (my written assignment for art) too. I was so happy and I'm on track to be top of the class in art, I think!!
I'm going to be uploading some photos of the aforementioned art piece in a little while, I'll update this with pictures too.

Splendour lineup got announced, really good bands like Vampire Weekend, Devo, Band of Horses, The Wombats, Sigur Ros, The Presets and The Cold War Kids - unfortunatley it's $200 for a ticket, so fuck that.
I'm going to Paul McCartney if he comes to Brisbane though, I've been listening to some of his solo stuff and his duets with Michael Jackson (who I am currently obsessed with). So yeah.

I got a Pentax 50mm f/1.7, it's a really fantastic lens! It gets really wonderful focus and GREAT colours. I'll be uploading some shots I took with it the other day in a little while. I'm getting a fisheye lens off of eBay soon - my friend bought one a few weeks ago and said they're really good, so that's reason enough for me to get one. I finally got a film camera of my own too, a Pentax MV1, it's a great auto-reflex camera and I can't wait to get some shots on Slide film which I'll get developed in negative chemicals (gives an awesome effect with the colours.
